Should you be rewarded for your efforts in school?

Confucius was a philosopher. He believed that results were more important than effort.Say you were a baseball coach and your best player barely tries and hits a home run then your worst player gets up to bat and tries his hardest but strikes out which would you rather want to put as fourth batter? If you were a teacher and a kid who tried his hardest and made a 65 and then you have a kid who has barely tries and makes a 100 would you give the 1st student extra points or not? Or would you give points to the other one or take away points or give them that grade?I believe that you go by results because if they grow up and get a job their boss will go by results.

SHOULD YOU EVER TELL A LIE?

Immanuel Kant was a philosopher he believed that no one should lie. If you could lie and save a person would you do it? He didn't believe we should do it then. He thought that it went against our nature. So do you agree? Are do think he was just some dumb old man roming the streets trying to get attention? Well if so you are very wrong as i said he was a german philosopher. One question i must ask you is do you think you can lie to yourself?

Martin Heidegger

DO WE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY ARE DOES TECHNOLOGY CONTROL US?

20th century philosopher Martin Heidegger believed that technology controled our lives. He believed it wasn't just an answer to a question. So do you agree? Three examples of important technology are computer because we can look up stuff that are important and talk to freinds and family. Another is  air conditioning to keep us cool or warm. The last one i think is most important is the lightbulb to help us see things in the dark. Some important technology that are bad for the enviroment are video games because they make us lazy. Guns are a very good type of technology but there dangerous. Cars are also a good type of technology but their fumes are very polusive. =-(
